Phoenix Logistics Awarded Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Prime Contract

 

On 27 March 2020, Phoenix Logistics, Inc. (PLI) was awarded a $516,000,000 Prime Contract by the US Army Contracting Command (ACC) Orlando to provide development sustainment and deployment capabilities to the US Army’s Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Program of Record across the full range of warfighting functions. As the Army’s constructive simulation product suite, JLCCTC supports institutional and operational unit training, for Active, Reserve and National Guard Units by providing the capabilities required to replicate the full spectrum of military operations to include offensive, defensive, and stability/civil support operations. PLI’s President and CEO, Al Funderburk proudly stated “This award is extremely significant in that PLI will perform work that contributes directly to the training and readiness of the US Army’s Warfighting Commander’s and their Staff, while developing the Army’s Next Generation Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Constructive Training Capability”. He went on to state, “This is also a great win for our Engineering Services Simulation & Training Division that has had several recent successes supporting major Engineering Services Programs for PEO STRI”. PLI will perform the JLCCTC Services Program from their Orlando, FL offices, providing overall Program Management, System of Systems Development, Sustainment, Integration & Test, Fielding and Exercise Support. Significant teammates in the effort include Riptide Software, Inc., General Dynamics Mission Systems, Janus Research Group and Polaris Alpha Advanced Systems, a Parsons Company.
