Phoenix Defense Prime Contractor for HH-60 Combat Rescue Helicopter Training System

We are proud to announce that Phoenix Defense Ventures, LLC — a Joint Venture between Phoenix Logistics and Riptide Software — has been selected by the U.S. Air Force as the prime contractor for the HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter Training System under the TSA IV IDIQ.  The primary mission of the HH-60W Jolly Green II is Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) to recover downed aircrew or isolated personnel in hostile or contested environments.

Under this contract, our team will provide academic and simulator training for both initial and recurring aircrew training, maintenance training device support, engineering sustainment, courseware development and sustainment, contractor logistics support, training device concurrency, opposing force (OPFOR) support, and program cybersecurity.

This award reflects the combined strength of our Joint Venture — bringing together Phoenix Logistics’ deep expertise in simulation hardware and training device production with Riptide Software’s proven software engineering and cybersecurity capabilities. Backed by CMMI Maturity Level 5 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications, our team delivers disciplined, agile, and innovative solutions tailored to the Air Force’s training modernization priorities.
