PLI Sponsors Navy League

Phoenix Logistics recently attended the Naval League Dinner in Scottsdale, AZ with five employees, one of whom was honored as a special guest for the evening.

The Navy League was founded in 1902 and has continued to uphold a mission of supporting the members of the sea services and their families through events like these. One of Phoenix Logistics’ employees, RJ Mitchell, was honored, having been a Navy Cross recipient for combat action during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Also in attendance were Scottsdale’s mayor Jim Lane and many officers representing 47 different countries who attended the Naval College.

Phoenix Logistics has a long history of supporting U.S. Naval platforms such as the Aegis Destroyer, the F-18 Hornet, and the Tomahawk cruise missile with high performance microwave cable assemblies and specialized MIL-STD-1553B Data Bus products, and as such we were proud to become a Gold Sponsor for the Navy League with a small donation to help the future success of the sea services.

Navy League sponsorships help support the four maritime services, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and the Merchant Marine Services. The Navy League also sponsors and supports Community Outreach, Adapt a Ship, Navy Relief, Sea Cadets, HSROTC, NROTC, and Leaders to Sea Programs.

Phoenix Logistics is proud to support such a great organization that is truly dedicated to helping further the future of the sea services. For more information on the Navy League of the United States please visit www.navyleague.org.
