Internships

Our summer internship program is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience that helps students build both technical and professional skills.

Program Overview:

  • Summer internships run 8–12 weeks, depending on the role and program needs
  • Hands-on project work aligned with your field of study and career interests
  • Direct exposure to real teams, programs, and mission-driven work

Each intern is paired with a dedicated mentor who provides guidance and support throughout the program. Mentors check in regularly, help interns set and refine professional goals, and offer insight into navigating projects, workplace expectations, and career development.

Throughout the program, interns participate in recurring Lunch & Learn sessions tailored to their interests. These sessions are designed to support growth beyond day-to-day tasks and may include topics such as career development, technical skills, communication, and navigating the defense industry giving interns the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals across the organization.

capstone-style recap presentation

Each internship concludes with a capstone-style recap presentation, where interns showcase their work, key learnings, and professional growth to colleagues and leadership. This experience helps interns:

  • Strengthen communication and presentation skills
  • Gain confidence presenting to professional audiences
  • Practice translating technical or project-based work into clear, impactful insights

Our goal is for every intern to leave with not only valuable experience, but also stronger skills, meaningful connections, and a clear sense of how their work contributes to real-world outcomes.
