C-17 Celebrates 20 Years Since First Flight

On Thursday, September 15, 2011, the C-17 Globemaster III program will celebrate another historic milestone – the 20th anniversary of the T-1 first flight and the beginning of a new era in military and humanitarian airlift. During the last 20 years, the C-17 has flown more than two million flight hours on countless military and humanitarian missions.

Phoenix Logistics was proud to be acknowledged by Boeing as a valued supplier to the program:

“The success of the C-17 has, in no small way, been the result of your continued support and advocacy for the program, both in good times and bad. We appreciate your help with providing quality parts on time to the production line in a dynamic environment of increasing customer expectations and continuous affordability challenges. Together with our supply base, we continue to produce and deliver C-17s to support today’s worldwide airlift needs.
