Al Funderburk

President & CEO

Mr. Funderburk has served in multiple leadership and staff assignments over the past 30 years. As a former military officer he commanded combat aviation units in the XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, NC as well as acting in numerous staff and training positions to include  Aviation Combat Trainer at the US Army’s National Training Center at Fort Irwin, CA. With an extensive background in complex aerospace systems integration and modelling and simulation, Al transitioned to industry in 2001 to take over the Comanche Helicopter’s Operational Test instrumentation program and has progressed through the industry ranks from project engineer to Senior Vice President and General Manager of a multi-divisional operation for a Fortune 250 Defence Contractor. Al has a BS in Computer Science, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is an active member of the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).

Barry Clinger

Barry Clinger


For over thirty years Mr. Clinger has led advanced commercial and government software development. He began his career in Artificial Intelligence research applied to space shuttle payload processing for NASA and became a Chief Computer Scientist at Kennedy Space Center. Barry recently has focused on modeling and simulation training projects for the US Army and US Marine Corps benefitting the Warfighter.

Mr. Clinger’s strengths include leading technical teams in the development of large-scale, widely distributed systems involving tight-knit teamwork and coordination. His focus on innovation and constantly improving quality has earned his organization a Level 5 CMMI formal accreditation. Barry serves as a consultant to commercial industry and Government in areas of artificial intelligence, service-oriented architectures, and advanced software development techniques and has multiple published papers. His undergraduate degree in Computer Science is from Eckerd College with a Master’s Degree from Florida Institute of Technology.

Suzanne McNamara

Senior Vice President and General Manager (PLI Manufacturing)

Suzanne has led operations and strategic business development in organizations to drive company growth for federal, commercial, and international markets. She has broad expertise in business capture, strategy, customer relations and production management. Suzanne brings a wealth of DoD experience to the Phoenix Defense team in her role as SVP-GM of our Manufacturing sites in Gilbert, AZ

Greg Williamitis

EVP and Director of Strategy (Orlando, Florida)

Colonel (Retired) Greg Williamitis has a distinguished military and civilian leadership history, including his most recent position as Vice President and Director of Business Development for SAIC/Leidos Orlando Operations. Mr. Williamitis retired from the US Army where he served in various leadership positions within Armored, Mechanized, Airborne, Air Assault, and Special Operations Units. Greg’s assignments included command of an Apache equipped Attack Battalion, the Senior Aviation Trainer at the National Training Center, Training and Doctrine Command System Manager for Reconnaissance and Attack Programs, Material Team Chief for the Future Combat System, and Chief of the Force Application Division for the Army Capability Integration Center. Greg is an active member of the Association of the United States Army, the Army Aviation Association of America, and the American Helicopter Society.

Chris Morgan

EVP and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Chris Morgan has over 20 years of Operations and Finance experience. He brings a diverse background having worked in multiple industries with emphasis in government contracting. Prior to joining Phoenix Logistics, he served as CFO for Koniag, Inc. and Ukpeagivik Inupiat Corporation where he was directly involved in their very successful financial and operational turnarounds. Chris’ core strengths include: strategic management, financial reporting and analysis (budgeting and forecasting), external reporting, tax planning, information system implementation, audit management and board communications. Mr. Morgan graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Accounting.

Rick Stikkers

SVP and Chief Engineer (Orlando, Florida)

Mr. Stikkers has over 20 years Engineering and Operations experience in the Modeling and Simulation community.  Mr. Stikkers started his career as a US Army Engineer Officer. He then moved to Raytheon and held positions of greater responsibility including Engineering Division Manager at the National Training Center, Chief Engineer for Raytheon’s Global Training Solutions Mission Area, and Combat Training Center manager.  Rick brings a deep understanding of the Live Training community, being key to the architecture development and sustainment of nearly all Live Training devices.  Rick has a BS in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Procurement and Acquisitions Management. 

Mark Reyes

VP of Human Resources

Mr. Mark Reyes has over 20 years of Human Resources experience across various sectors in the Aerospace and Defense industries.  Most recently, he was partnered with the engineering team at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory that successfully landed the Perseverance rover and has also managed teams and lead initiatives across Northrop Grumman and Boeing.  Mr. Reyes brings a breadth of DoD procedural, product, and personnel knowledge that compliments his core strengths in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, leadership and employee development, HR metrics, engagement, and DEIA.  Mr. Reyes holds a B.S in Psychology from Arizona State University.

Rob Olson

SVP of Strategic Development

Mr. Rob Olson, a U.S. Army veteran, has 25 years of senior leadership experience in aerospace and defense industry.  He has held multiple leadership positions in strategy and business development, capture, program management, and business unit leadership with P&L responsibility during his two decades with General Dynamics.  He was responsible for leading post M&A integration and strategy for legacy capabilities from niche offerings to achieving market leadership in weapon systems operational testing and warfighter training mission areas.  He brings exceptional domain experience in C4ISR, Modeling, Simulation, Threat Representation, Training, and Testing programs.  Prior to joining General Dynamics, held Business Area Operations and Program Manager positions for Mystech Associates, Inc. leading U.S. Army Intelligence Programs at Fort Huachuca, AZ.

In the U.S. Army he served as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst in tactical and theater level assignments.   He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and Justice from Central Washington University and an MBA from University of Phoenix.
